I feel so much better today.

The doctor was right; the antibiotic helped. I think I caught it from my ex; he was around a little girl who had strep. It’s not what I had, but it was close. He also went to the doctor with the same symptoms, and his strep test came back negative.

All that aside, Bentley and I took a walk last night. He really enjoyed the Halloween decorations in one of my neighbors’ yards. I had to keep stopping so he could look at them. Then, when we were coming back to the house, there were some wet leaves and things on the sidewalk, and he kept weaving around them.

Bentley does not like to walk on wet stuff.

Also, he used to bark like crazy at other dogs, and he would fiercely pull on the leash. I got this clapper thing at work once, and I started to use that when I took him and Zoey for a walk. That worked; he doesn’t even pay any attention to other dogs now.

Today was my first day back at work after the sickness of my year. It went well. Right after, Bentley started to whine, so we went for another walk, and now he is wiped out; he loves the walks, though.
