The election results are in; that was unexpected.

I really thought the old hats would keep their jobs. Hopefully they lead well. We will see. They talk a lot to get elected, but nothing ever changes.

It is back to normal for me today. I am going back to work. Later, all the boys will be here. My Middle son has COVID right now, so there’s that. I want to go to the gym, so maybe all four of us will, or maybe just three.

I want to work on another short story. There is always so much I want to do after I have days off. That always happens.

It’s cooling down outside and starting to feel like fall. It’s really nice. My lighted umbrella gets here tomorrow. I’m ready for that one day when it’s really cold, and when you wake up, you snuggle under the covers. Hopefully it happens on a weekend.

My luck, though, will be next week when I have to trudge into the office.
