It’s Tuesday.

I am not sure what to do with myself today.

Probably just read. It’s cool and rainy outside today. My umbrella for my little table broke. The cord that is inside that tube and winds it up and down snapped. I have one coming with lights that I got for $50. Which is nice because it gets dark at like 5:30 p.m. now.

On Sunday, when we went for a walk, there were some kids out riding bikes. They freaked me out at first because I heard talking and laughing and I saw floating lights. When they got close, I noticed it was kids on bikes with lights.

I asked my son, who was with me, “What are kids doing out at ten at night riding bikes?” Then my brain rotated forward, and I said, “Wait, it’s only like six, isn’t it?”

He got out his phone and said, “Yeah, it’s 6:30.”

To which I replied, “Christ, it feels like 10p.m.” Then he said, “I thought it was 10p.m.”

The time change does that to people. Or at least to my son and me. UGH! I hate this time of year.
