What a day.

I woke up to Dan’s alarm at 3 a.m. I had to go to the bathroom, so I got out of bed to use the potty, and someone was in there. I got up to go pee, and someone was in the bathroom. I woke up again at 4:45 a.m. and realized that was all a dream. I went to the bathroom; no one was in there but me.

I was wide awake after that until about 5 a.m., then I fell asleep again. I don’t remember turning off my 6 a.m. alarm, but I must have because I didn’t wake up until 6:45 a.m. I have that alarm set so I won’t forget to make sure my youngest wakes up. Now I’m thinking I am going to have to rush through my morning routine and make sure he wakes up too. GAH!

But when I walked out to the kitchen, he was at the sink, so I said, “Oh, good, you are awake; I don’t have to wake you up now.” He said, “Blahh.”

I have been trying lately to make sure I eat breakfast every morning. Since I woke up late, I didn’t get to make breakfast until my break at 9 a.m.

It took forever, and my oldest had a fit because I forced him to eat the breakfast he picked out. Then, right after that, my mom came out and said, “I was wondering if you had something for me to eat?” So I made her breakfast while I tried to work.

Speaking of work, I didn’t get much done today, but thank god it is Friday.
