As predicted, I am not going to the office today. It’s alright; no one will miss me. It’s a big company.
I watched a movie last night that was really weird. It’s called Greener Grass, and I actually had to look up what it was supposed to be about.
Google says:

Also, one of the children turns into a golden retriever, which the dad prefers to the actual child. At the end, it is revealed that the kids have been playing soccer in a graveyard. And the main character kidnaps a little girl, and no one seems to care. It all seems like when children pretend to be adults.
I read another description that said it was about how people in suburbia mask their feelings.
I’m a suburban mom, and I have never masked my feelings, but then I have never been a rich suburban mom. Maybe that’s the difference?
I don’t know, but the movie was weird. I will say that years ago I worked for a large department store. Ok, it was Walmart. I worked there for several years, from about 1996 to late 2000. There was a manager there that I worked with for almost that entire time. Out of all the Walmart managers, he was the most down-to-earth, and he respected his workers. He was a good guy.
After I left, I was a waitress at a restaurant called Posados. One night he was there with his wife, and I think a daughter. He introduced me to his wife, and I will never forget how weird she was. This is how it went,
Former manager: “Wife (I don’t remember the wife’s name; he didn’t call her that), this is Edna. She used to work with me.”
Wife, “Pretty girl, pretty bird.”
Me, “Yeah, it’s nice to see you.”
Former manager to wife, “Edna was one of our best workers. Now she works here. We were sad to see her go.”
Wife: “Pretty bird, grew wings, flew away.”
The whole time, the wife was smiling and laughing. It was weird, and I felt like I was talking to a child. That is the movie Greener Grass.
After I watched Over Your Dead Body, I could get it out of my head.
Ok, that is all for me today. Everyone, enjoy Tuesday.
