Yesterday was a weird day.

I didn’t get the books I ordered. So, I ordered some from Barnes and Noble online to pick up in store. I ordered Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay because I like his book, Dead but Dreaming of Electric Sheep, and a book called Under the Falls by Richard Russo.

I had to pick up my son from school and take him to work so I planned on picking up the books after I took him to work. That is exactly what happened but when I got to the book store, I bought two more books.

Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. Steinbeck is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

So now I have a lot of books to read but I read quickly so I will need to buy more in about a month.

After that I came home with the intention to cook dinner for everyone who was left at the house. What happened instead was I fell asleep until my son called me to come pick him up from work.

I was awake for about an hour after that, then I fell asleep again.

I was woken up by my oldest son who was pulling on my arm. He scared me, bad, I yelled.

I got him what he needed and now we have both calmed down and are relaxing. I am going to have him help me clean.
