We went to the Gashapon store a few months ago and they had a Gremlins machine. I got this sad Gizmo.

I brought him home and put him on the table facing Dan’s chair and said now he is going to look at you with disappointment forever.

Something happened to his ear at some point and then he fell off the table and I forgot about him until I was cleaning one day. There he was with his sad little face.

I’m sorry Gizmo.

So last night after work all I did was play games on my phone. It was one of those nights where I kept thinking, after this I’ll do this, but I never put down my phone.

I finished Polybius, by Collin Armstrong and I’m about to start We Were Warned, by Chelsea Ichaso. Sometimes when I am in between books it’s hard for me to focus.

I think today I am actually going to look for a book on my Nook instead of a physical book.

Tomorrow is cleaning day so today I am just going to sit and stare, or I’m going to read, or I’m going to go out.
