I bought a Better Homes and Gardens wax warmer at Walmart yesterday. I also bought lavender was to melt in the warmer. I read that lavender deters flying insects. They don’t like the smell of lavender.

It worked for 30 minutes and now it won’t turn on anymore. I’m taking it back to the store today.

I also bought The Book of Useless Information because I thought the name of the book was funny. I opened it to a few random pages and it was stuff I already knew. Now I have a big book of stuff I already know.

Good times.

I was invited to breakfast today by my middle son. I think he may tell me he is finally moving out. Maybe not but when he went to visit his boyfriend in San Antonio the last time he was sketchy about what day he was coming home. I didn’t think he was coming home.

I’ve told him a couple times I will be alright. I’ll miss him terribly, but there is no reason for him to stay. I feel like I hold him back, or rather, he holds himself back because I have made it clear he should move on and find his own way.

He hasn’t yet for several reasons.
