What I would say if I saw a red balloon in Derry.

I am up early with an awful headache. I took some Tylenol and am hoping that it goes away because I have to spend the next eight hours in front of a computer screen.

Maybe I’ll put my knit hat on, sometimes that helps.

Yesterday we had our meeting and I worked through it because they gave the same announcements they did at Wednesdays meeting, then we played that awful quordle game. During this round one of my team members guessed all the words pretty much on her own and another of my team members said, ‘I need you at bar trivia night.’ Um huh? Because she played a word game well so now she knows trivia question answers?

My co-worker that did well on quordle said, ‘Oh no, you don’t want me at trivia.’

And friends, I know this had nothing to do with me, because only people I see in person know how I feel about the meetings and the games, but I felt like they were baiting me into a reaction.

I did not react, I just closed the meeting because it was over.

After work I was wiped out so I slept for a little while. When I woke up my youngest son made a Key Lime Pie and I made dinner it was what I call a non-night meaning nothing really exciting happened.

I feel like I might be coming down with something because the headache and the hot flashes I have been having lately. I really hope not though because I am done with not feeling well, I’ve had enough.
