Every morning my dog Zoey waits until I get my coffee and settle down in my chair with my journal, then stands at the door to go outside.
It’s like somehow she knows, because if I don’t sit in my chair, she does not leave the bedroom.
Trust me I have tested this, if I get up and make coffee no Zoey, if I sit down, boom there she is dancing at around at the back door.
One time I made it sound like I was sitting down and she came running. I opened the door to let her out and she just walked away.
So, I closed the door and sat down, she was back at the door, and that time I got up and opened the door and she went outside.
What’s up with that?
I’ve had this dog for 17 years.
When we lived in apartments I had to walk her when she needed to pee or poop. Even in the rain.
Once while a tornado blew through a nearby city. I could hear the sirens and everything.
God love her, she will probably live longer than me.
