At some point in my journal writing experience I started to think, ‘I need to start using different colored ink in my journal. So when I shred it at the end of the year, I have different colors.’

Actually I know the exact day, March 13th, that is when I shredded the first 137 days of my 2024 journal and made a picture out of the shredded pages.

I’m using light blue today.

I bought some gel pens, a pack of 50, late last year then immediately forgot all about them.

The idea was to use them to outline my drawings, which I did, but they stop writing too much, or they won’t write on certain paper sometimes.

They are cheap gel pens.

The boys go with their dad today and I am glad because I need a breather.

It’s just they are both so active right now. My youngest talked so much yesterday and my oldest was just sprinting around and giggling.

It was too much for me yesterday.

Today I am going to relax and take it easy.

Probably just spend the whole day in my room.
