We are on our way back to Texas. It feels like we’ve been gone for a month but it’s only been 3 days.

It was good to see Briana and Spencer and baby Marcus. I told Dan next time we come back it needs to be in the hottest part of the summer. Also all the hats I knit and I didn’t bring a single one with me. It was windy and cold the first two days. Yesterday was the only nice day out of all the days.

It was a good trip and I’m glad I came because I honestly was thinking about not going at the last minute. I didn’t want to leave mom alone.

All was fine though. Mom was fine. My sister stayed with her and William did his part also. So I can go away for a little while and nothing will burn down.

Now we just have the long drive home. I wish I could sleep in cars because I would but, I’ve never been able to do that. Unless I am driving then it’s a fight to stay awake.
