We left Kansas last night at about 8 p.m. and rolled back in to Texas around 4 this morning.

Dan didn’t have the greatest time for reasons I won’t say here, that is his story to tell.

No it’s all bout doing the after Kansas stuff. Y’all know what I’m talking about. All the chores that were put off until after this or after that.

I finished some books while we were away.

Don’t fear the reaper by Stephen Graham Jones, then we went to that big Barnes and Noble and I bought more books.

One was The Birds Nest by Shirley Jackson. I finished it on the drive home.

It is a great read. I can see how much she influenced other writers.

I also bought The Haunting of Hill House I am about halfway through that one.
