My new bed is coming today and I am excited.

I can’t wait to be in bed and raise my head and my feet.

Also, I am almost done with Fahrenheit 451 and I am a little shocked at how Mr. Bradbury predicted the future.

The book was published in 1953, in the book Guy Montag’s wife Mildred is constantly listening to her seashells which are small devices that fit in her ears.

In these she listens to music while sleeping, and she also uses them to hear her ‘family,’ which are people who are projected through large floor to ceiling television screens on the walls of their parlor.

No one reads books they all listen to their ‘seashells’ and watch their parlor screens.

Also, Guy speaks to his ally Faber with a two way ‘seashell’ Faber made.

How did Ray Bradbury know?

People do these things with earbuds like it’s second nature today.

They go to sleep with them and sometimes leave them in all day while talking to someone on the phone.

We also all watch too much TV and some of us start to feel like the characters on the shows we watch are a part of our ‘family.’
