Last night I hurt my back.

There was a water bottle lid stuck in the drain of the bathtub under the plug. The plug wouldn’t go all the way down because of the bottle lid.

So I squatted down next to the tub and pried it out and when I stood up I felt something in my back and I got struck by lightening.

Ok, I didn’t get struck by lightening but I did feel pain all through my back.

I couldn’t move. Friends, when I say I couldn’t move, I mean I live standing in the bathroom now.

Then I forced my legs to move and tried to walk it off, but it didn’t walk off.

I took some Tylenol and soaked in a hot bath and it helped but it still hurt. I was hoping that a good night of rest might help, nope, still hurts.

So this is what getting old feels like.
