
What Georgie SHOULD have said.
I posted that one because it’s Friday 13th.
That makes two this year. February 13th was a Friday also. I don’t have anything else to say about that I just thought it was interesting.
I have mentioned that I’m trying to cut down on caffeine. I’m doing pretty good actually. I used to drink coffee all morning. I kept refilling my cup from 6a.m. until 11:30 a.m. when I went to lunch. Sometimes I would also have another cup at 2:30 or 3 especially if it is a day I have to pick my son up and take him to work.
So, starting on Monday, March 9, I have only had one cup of coffee each morning. Then I have some type of hot tea instead, which I do understand still has caffeine in it, but I’m not drinking cups and cups of coffee.
I also haven’t been drinking as many sodas. I think what I am trying to accomplish more than the caffeine is cutting down on the sugar.
I don’t put sugar in my coffee or my tea, but I do put liquid cream in my coffee that I’m pretty sure has sugar, I’ve never checked how much but it does sweeten my coffee a little so it has some kind of sweetner.
I also have been drinking more water but I started doing that years ago. I still drink too many sodas though and coffee.
Also all that stuff the big companies try to pass off as sugar free has artificial sweeteners in them and those are just GROSS.
I hate artificial sweeteners. The after taste that coats your mouth and never goes away makes the bile in my stomach rise to my throat.
And no, I won’t keep drinking it so I can get used to it, that is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard people say.
To me, that’s like saying, “Just keep swallowing scorpions. You will get used to the poison.”
Ok well that is a little dramatic so I will stop for today.
