Yesterday was a day.
Work was uneventful. We had our morning meeting at the beginning everyone was talking about weather. My supervisor asked if all we get is ice in Texas we said yes we get ice in Texas.
He said, ‘if there’s ice don’t drive.’ One of my co-workers said, ‘you said it,’ I said, ‘Tuesday there is going to be ice and I’m not going to drive.’ No one laughed at either one of our jokes.
My co-worker and I had an IM conversation about it when the meeting was over, I was like I forgot that everyone is super excited all the time to be at work and go to the office.
I told Dan and he added to my joke saying I would have to sacrifice all the ice in the ice trays this Tuesday by putting them on the driveway behind my car and taking a picture for proof I couldn’t go to work because of the ice in my drive way.
So at least it landed with someone.
After work my oldest and I went to Walmart. As we were walking in a woman called to us and said, ‘can you get that?’
It was her receipt blowing away. I almost got it when it was flying past my feet, since I didn’t I committed to getting this thing, and I chased it down until I caught the receipt . I gave it back to her, she thanked me profusely, said she should have put it in her purse and thought she might need it, I told her it was fine and it was really windy. She told me to have a good day, we parted ways.
While shopping, my oldest picked out a lot of snacks and some drinks. Then he left me and went down and aisle and came back with a big bag of plastic cups. I asked him if he was having a party, he shook his head yes. Then I test Dan and asked him if he was coming to the party. He was at work so he called and said he couldn’t because he was at work. It was all an experience friends.
We at dinner and played the Mind The Gap game a little while we were eating. My mom played for a little while and then she just started talking about random things that didn’t make sense so I just sat back and let her talk.
That was my day yesterday. Hope you enjoyed reading about it, everyone have a good Friday.
