My first day of the New Year was uneventful, and that makes me very happy.

I wrote some more, then took a nap. After that, I worked on my sweater. I have about 20 rows to go before it’s finished and I am having the hardest time motivating myself to finish.

My oldest son was bored so we went to the mall and walked around. We made two passes and on the second we got stuck behind this old man on his phone who was walking very slowly.

We kept trying to walk around him but when we did he kept moving and blocking our path. My son cracked up laughing and the old man turned and glared at us then moved out of the way.

It was so funny.

I am going to get out again after work today with him because he and I need some walking time.
