Yesterday I was busy.

I cleaned and put away laundry all day long. I also caught up on my shows and I knit my sweater. It is almost done, I have one more sleeve to go.

I am going to make a sweater for my son next that I thought was a v-neck but when I went back and looked at the pattern it wasn’t a v-neck.

It also got cold here in Texas overnight.

I think it’s funny because people on Facebook I know have lived in Texas all their lives were complaining about turning on their AC’s at Christmas. They had a picture that made the rounds that they thought was funny with an AC unit in the fireplace. It makes me wonder why they are complaining because Texas is always warm at Christmas.

I remember only one year where we had significant amount of snow at Christmas and that was in the 1980’s. Christmas in Texas is always warm.

What’s even funnier is that January is typically the coldest month in Texas, and always has been the coldest month in Texas. When it gets cold in January, they will want the 80-degree Christmas weather back.

Then during the summer they will want the January weather back. I’ve heard the phrase that Texas weather is bipolar but I think what actually happens is most of the people who live here have selective memory.

Ok well that is all I have today. If you are in Texas stay warm I know a dip in temperature and a rise in temperature is hard for y’all but it happens every year.
