I’m still knitting my hot pink seater.

My journal is almost finished. It’s been quite a year. I forgot to write yesterday, and I dropped off for a few days in May and June, but other than that, I have been consistent with writing in my journal every day.

I thought I would get sick of it, but I actually really enjoy getting up and writing every morning. It has helped me function. I wish I had started this earlier, but so many things were against me. I had a narcissistic ex that I had to hide everything I wrote from. He would either take them and read them to other people so they could see how crazy I was, or he would see a poem or something I wrote and think it was about another man, someone I was cheating on him with.

I had to hide a notebook in the lining of a purse and write in that, he never found that one. I’m glad, though, because that one helped me leave him.

Now I have Dan, and I am so happy he is not like that. He knows I write about him, and he doesn’t care. He never reads these, but he knows they are on the internet. If you read this one, Dan, know that I love you.
