My work desk is in my living room and it is 6:12 am and the Teams chat is blowing up, I keep hearing it ding.

I start work at 7 a.m. central time but we also have people who work in Eastern time so they are already there, so, they are either saying happy birthday to someone in the Eastern time zone, OR a system is down.

I’m going with a system is down.

Also an update on my Kindle Scribe is delivery is unavailable. Let’s go back through this:

Ordered November 27th which was Thanksgiving Thursday,

Shipped on Friday November 28th the next day black Friday,

Was schedule to be delivered on November 29th and was at the carrier facility in Fort Worth. I waited for it to be delivered all day, then about 9p.m. got a message that said it was too late to be loaded on a truck or something.

Then it was scheduled for delivery on Sunday November 30. Again I waited all day, I even saw an Amazon delivery truck across the street from my house and thought there it is! Nope, they were delivering something to my neighbor.

Then I get an update that says the delivery is taking longer than expected but my package is still in that carrier facility in Fort Worth. This was Monday December 1st.

Tuesday December 2, the update was that the package again arrived at a carrier facility in Fort Worth.

Wednesday December 3rd, nothing, nada, zilch, no update.

Today Thursday December 4th, delivery date unavailable.

Every day with every update they have told me I can cancel if I don’t want to wait but I am not cancelling this, I have looked at these for so long and wanted one but wanted the price to go down a little. Then on black Friday it did and I bought it, I’m not cancelling this, Amazon should have planned better.

Ok that is all for me today. Maybe I will get my package this month, maybe not until next year I don’t know but I am getting this damn Kindle Scribe.
