I think I’m better. I don’t have a fever, and my head doesn’t hurt today.

I can move my eyes around comfortably in their sockets. Yesterday I couldn’t even do that, today it’s better

I still have a touch of nausea, but I’m hoping that goes away.

I think it might have had something to do with the cold. It was very cold in my house yesterday morning, and I didn’t start to feel better until it warmed up. So, last night, I turned up the heat before I went to sleep. Today, I didn’t wake up with a horror story headache.

I also slept well. When my alarm went off this morning, I tried to answer my phone because I was dreaming that my son was calling. I said ‘hello,’ because I was answering my phone, but I didn’t move. So I was just lying with my head on my pillow, and I woke up and said, ‘hello,’ because I thought I was answering my phone. I was confused for a second, then realized it was my alarm, so I turned it off. My alarm ringtone is different from the ringtone for phone calls.

I once had a friend who used the same ringtone for their alarm and calls. I asked them once, “How do you know when to wake up and how do you know when to answer your phone?”

I was serious, but they thought I was being funny and laughed. Anyway, their phone rang all the time, and they would step away to talk on it. One day, their phone was ringing, and it was sitting on a table. I saw it before they grabbed it, and I was like, “It’s just your alarm.” They glared at me and pretended to answer the phone.

I realized that day that they had intentionally set up their phone that way so that it would appear as if people were constantly calling them. I’m not sure why, though. I guess it’s to make them look important or something. After they came back that day, I asked why they answered their alarm. We were there with some other people, and they were like, ‘Because it wasn’t my alarm. People call me, I have a lot of irons in the fire.’

Which is such a weird thing for someone who waits tables to say, but after that, I didn’t hang out with them anymore. I feel like I was in the presence of a future Romeo scammer. They did try to call me a few times, but I always ignored their calls, and after a while, they gave up.
