I’m starting a new picture this week.

It started with me sanding a small white canvas, because I saw someone doing that on Instagram. Then I thought, ‘This is smooth enough to write on with a sharpie.’

So I wrote the lyrics to Life on Mars by David Bowie because it was stuck in my head. Then, I thought I am going to make a drawing and put over this with the lyrics as the back drop.

After I had finished the drawing and colored it all though, I decided that it would look better on a bigger canvas with a black background. I ordered some black canvases, they will be here tomorrow. I DO NOT want to go out anywhere today.

For the rest of the day today I am going to take it easy. A nap is coming very soon, then I’m going to force myself to put away the laundry.

After that I am either going to read my book or write some more. Those are my unchangeable plans.
