My little dog Zoey gives me these looks, this is one of many.

Yesterday work went well. I was focused and pretty sure I was knocking everything out. I usually start my shutdown at 3pm at 2:59 my power went out.

I’m like come on, you can’t go out at 7am when I start?

Oh well, I got a 15 minute break. The power came back about 20 minutes later but my work day was already over. The only thing I didn’t get to do was put in the count of how many cases I completed. So I am going to do that this morning.

My mom was watching TV in the living room all day yesterday. When the power went out it of course got really quiet and she kept saying, “I just heard a car door.” or “I just heard someone talking.”

So I handed her a book and said, “Lets read while the power is out.”

Mom says, “I can’t find my glasses I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find them because someone is wearing them.”

I know where my mom’s glasses are because I found them on the floor and put them up for her, I’ve asked her several times is she needs them she has consistently said no, she thought I was wearing her glasses.

I got them out and gave them to her and of course, she said she still couldn’t see.

Thankfully the power came back on quickly.
