It is Monday, I’m going to make it a good day.

I bought another book yesterday, The King in Yellow by Robert W Chambers. It’s stories from different characters who have read a manuscript called The King in Yellow and it has made them crazy.

It’s very good so far, I’ve finished three stories.

I bought it because it was one of the spotlighted books at Barnes and Noble but also because I watch True Detective on HBO and the writer of that show Nic Pizzolatto credits The King in Yellow as his inspiration for True Detective.

So far I can see the parallel, in True detective different detectives in different places and states all have different but very similar cases they are working that drive them crazy.

I’m glad I am reading a variety of different horror authors I just wish I had more time in a day to read them. Work always gets in the way.
