I started making my own journal yesterday and it is a process.

I don’t think I understood when I started what a huge undertaking it would be, it’s slightly overwhelming. I’ve been using Elmers glue but I think for gluing the journal page to the thicker sketch book paper I am going to need rubber cement. The Elmers glue makes the pages a little wrinkly and very stiff.

This is my basic concept. It is turning out good, but there is a lot left to do, I also want to either get a date stamp and stamp each one of the pages or, I can just write the date in every page.

One more thing that I was thinking about, it is going to be very thick.

The thing about impulse projects is you don’t think them through. Then you end up with this huge overwhelming project that you may or may not complete before five years is up or ten.

Then you finally have a journal with a lined page on one side and a sketch page on the other.
