I can tell I’m getting back to normal because my sleep schedule is back.

I should say my weird sleep schedule. I usually take a power nap after work, then I am up until “the lights go down in the city, and the moon shines on the bay.”

Then I am up when “morning has broken, like the first morning.” and “the blackbird has spoken like the first bird.”

That’s me, I’ve never been a great sleeper.

Last night I finished the background of my picture and I also went out and bought some green glitter. Today after I clean I am going to start on the glitter. I am excited about this because the whole thing looks so good, I can’t wait to see how it turns out with the glitter.

I think I will be done with this by Sunday and I already know what I want to make next.

I read an article about the black moon that was happening this weekend. That’s when the illuminated side of the moon faces away from the earth and the moon also rises and sets with the sun. If you go outside and look there is no moon in the sky, you can’t see it, it’s there but not visible.

I am going to use this drawing,

And put a black moon behind her.

Of course pictures will be posted here step by step. I am going to do this one all with magazine pages. I have a lot of shredded magazine pages.
