I can’t wait to finish this

I was lazy yesterday. I took a lot of naps.

That’s alright though I guess because it was Saturday and my day off, so I could be lazy. Today will be my cleaning day. I need to do this because I am waiting on my projector so I can finish my next picture and I am going to drive myself crazy if I just sit around and wait.

I also have a headache I think from all the sitting around and sleeping yesterday. It’s a sinus headache so if I get up and move around I will sneeze and those sinuses will drain.

About a week ago I bought a sketchbook and I decided to make one drawing a day, the one pictured above is a drawing from said sketchbook.

Lately I have been drawing skeleton things and putting lyrics to songs in the background of them. They look really cool and I really like how they turn out, I’m proud of myself I guess. The one above was just random thoughts in my brain.

This one is The Big Machine by Ryan Miller, because it was stuck in my head.

This is No Action and Brilliant Mistake by Elvis Costello, because I have been a huge fan of his for as long as I can remember. We’re friends on Facebook.

The foot is Walkin’ After Midnight by Patsy Cline because it was stuck in my head while I was drawing the foot.

This one is The Good Times are Killing Me, by Modest Mouse because I thought the laughing skull was made that way by the good times. They literally killed him.

I am doing all the skeleton drawings because I still have trouble with drawing certain things like feet and hands and whole bodies. I feel like drawing skeleton parts will help with that.

I have never had an art class so I don’t have a lot of knowledge about things, this is my best guess on how things work and how to get better. I did have one class when I was in fashion design school. It was the last semester before I dropped out and the professor was kind of an ass.

We did a lot of hatching, and we drew a shoe with the hatching, he said my shading was wrong when I turned it in for the first review, so I tried again and my shading was still wrong, the last one I didn’t change at all and he gave me a c, I was very frustrated.

Also, the class was a hybrid class so you could take it either online or in person, he would get mad if no one showed up for in person class. He actually would go in to a diatribe about how he had a family and another job and he was still able to make it to the campus even though he lived an hour away, blah, blah, blah. Then we would have very little time to go over what he had to teach us so he would rush through the lesson. I mean it was a hybrid class, if it made him that angry and he didn’t think he could teach people online and it was better in person than he should have made it a fully on campus class.

He would also tell us every single class about how he was a working artist and sold his artwork and had them in galleries all around the world, but when I did a google search of his name I came up with nothing.

So that was my art class experience.

Any way I think I am done now. Everyone have a wonderful Sunday.
