I almost forgot to write today.

I woke up early of course because it’s Saturday and I don’t have to work today. That’s always what happens.

My plan was to get up, make my coffee then write in my journal.

Instead I got up, made my coffee,

Worked on my picture,

ran out of scraps of paper with writing from my 2024 journal

found another notebook with writing to shred

heated up leftover pizza for my oldest son

shredded the notebook pages

wondered about the different thicknesses with the paper

Then I was like, ‘Oh yeah my Journal.’

So now I am writing. I also remembered this morning that school starts this month. The summer passed by so quickly. My youngest has two more years left. I can’t wait for high school to be over for him. He hasn’t had the greatest time with school.

I can’t wait for him to go to college because I think what he needs is freedom which you get somewhat in college. I think whatever he chooses he will be great, he is a really good kid.
