My first name is Edna my middle name is Mae.

When people figure out what my middle name is, I go from being just Edna to being Edna Mae.

When I was in the police academy one of the guest speakers was going around the room asking people what their nicknames were, he got to me and I said, ‘My name.’ Then I had to explain of course.

It’s fine though, I like my name.
