It is already May.

Remember the memes that went around social media that wanted to give up on 2025 like the third day in? Are y’all ok? Because we are five months in now.

I went and bought another crochet pattern and some yarn this morning. Most people do their impulse internet shopping at night because they can’t sleep. I do mine early in the morning because that’s when I always wake up, it’s so early.

I got the suggested yarn for the pattern this time, I think that will make the process different because it will turn out the way it’s supposed to turn out this time. At least that is the hope.

I wanted bright colors so I bought blue, green and pink.

This weekend I will finish my picture. I haven’t been feeling great. I have had a slight fever for the past two days. Not enough to write home about but just enough to make me feel miserable.

I blame the weather.

It’s been humid and rainy.

So I’ve just been working and resting, and working and resting and thinking about my future all week.

I’m 48 so all you youngun’s out there should know that it never stops.
