I’m up early.

There’s not that much going on this weekend. Dan bought a new lawn mower, a riding one, and he wants to take it down to my mom’s house for a trial run.

I don’t want to, but I may not have to, he may just go down there by himself.

I also saw a mosquito in my house today.

Which makes sense because we leave our backdoor open when the weather is nice, and also, summer is next month.

Most places summer starts in June but in Texas summer starts in May.

I am exaggerating a bit, but it does start to get hot in May.

I’m going to be off the whole July fourth weekend and I’m trying to decide what I’m going to do, probably not much.

I want to go to Lake Meridian, at Meridian State Park. I went there with the church youth group when I was a teenager. There was a bumble bee cave and the lake.

I don’t remember the lake much because we didn’t go there with the group. The best time I had was when I could get away from the group and walk the trails.

I didn’t have a good time on that trip.

We won’t get in to how victimized I always felt while on church trips right now. That is for another time.
