Edna Buchanan wrote a series of stories about a crime reporter who helped solve crimes for the police in Miami Florida.

Her name was Britt Montero.

She is tough, street smart and a good reporter. She is also written very well and makes mistakes like humans do, but I loved her.

I would love to be Britt Montero.
