I am attempting to make doilies like my mom used to make. She made a lot of them in her day and she got really good.

People would buy them from her and some of them were rather large.

I found a pattern booklet that was in her things that I thought was the same one she used when we were kids, but it’s not because there is a web address on it, so it must be a reprint.

Mom and Dan have faith in me mom said I would do fine just follow the directions very carefully.

I asked Dan if he thought I’d make beautiful doilies or if I would fail miserably. He said I would make beautiful doilies.

I figured it was a good project for summer because knitting during the summer is miserable. It’s jus too hot.

It’s also a new skill for me because it’s crochet and I don’t really know how to crochet. I’m kind of exited about it, I posted about it yesterday too.

I’m also still sick, ugh.
