It’s been a minute since I have had a teacher, but there are two that are memorable.
In third grade my teacher was Mrs. Jeter and she was doing things that were new and different and shaking up the school system in our little town.
I remember she really loved to teach and I could tell because she was always excited for every day. She also gave out prizes for good behavior or if we got a good grade on something and gave genuine praise when we did something well that we were struggling with.
She had the best toys and pencils as prizes too, and I’m almost positive she paid for those with her own money.
In high school it was Mrs. Miller. She was my biology teacher and she also loved teaching biology. She would get so excited when she taught about different aspects of science and biology.
It was the second time I took biology because my first teacher was more concerned with these folders she wanted us to keep organized than she was teaching biology, but Mrs. Miller was different, I actually learned a lot from her, she was the best.
I also have some college professors and advisors that stood out to me, but those are for another time.
That’s all for today. I am glad you are here and I appreciate the likes. While you are here check out some of my other blog posts.
