The craft/knitting/sewing corner

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

In 2020 I worked as a police dispatcher, so I still went to work every day since I was an essential employee. However, that was the only place I could go, so when I wasn’t there working I was at home cleaning. I did a lot of decluttering then.

During that time was also when I started making my art. I had some magazines that I had read and for whatever reason didn’t throw away. I started by ripping the pages up, then I shredded the pages in a paper shredder and made them that way.

That hobby helped to clear out so much of my clutter. Now there is just one corner where I throw all my stuff. It used to be organized but well you know, you get lazy. It has knitting needles everywhere. Fabric, and sewing needles. Patterns are put back on there envelopes but they are stacked on the floor. I keep telling myself I am going to at least organize this corner a little, but it is out of the way and in a room we don’t use often so the mess stays.

My messy corner.
